I was asked to make a design to accompany the text "Finding healing in wounding Beauty.” The piece shows an almost uncomfortable view of the creative hand, set on a large but also soft red. The image singles out the hand as a tool to heal but also to wound. The piece was also created using thread to keep eye movement through the piece and the engage a conversation of the painful but reformative nature of sewing up wounds.
